It all has started with this fab blouse that has been handed down to me. I didn’t want to wear it over a black top, so I have chosen a brick colour top, but then the weather forecast was all rain so I have decided to wear a leather jacket and the faux-leather trousers sprang to mind automatically and sensible shoes good for rain and a black bag to finish it all.

I have bought these wide-leg trousers on sale from Primark, they have a very vintage vibe for me, a bit of 70-ties a bit of 40-ties look. Hope to wear them all winter. Like them with a skinny, vintage belt.
That’s mine on a budget wedding guest outfit. Both clothing items were from charity shops. The dress I have bought in the middle of the winter, the best time to buy dresses, and the bolero I have got a day before the event, which was lucky. I think it all works because all items are in the same cool scale of browns and beiges.
I’m obviously obsessed with grey at the moment. Since I got these trousers I’m trying to put them with different combinations. This time a light, black shirt, as it’s still quite warm, black Vans and the belt that makes the outfit, it’s too long, so you obviously have to let it hang.

All grey and white outfit. I have got this jacket from a charity shop, it’s only Matalan but looks good. I was thinking about changing the buttons, but the existing once are grey and seem to go with everything. The top is years old but it has a hoody and makes the outfit more casual. The trousers came from my friend who didn’t want them any more. I have shortened the length and I love the pattern. Brogues are from Primark and they are only £12.
