A bit of jungle in a bomber jacket

might just be what one needs to have some impact. Combine flowers with stripes and one gets a concoction that rocks my boat. I wasn’t intending to go shy, so red lingerie like top was a must and then obviously a red bag to go with it. The only demure items are the black pencil skirt and white sandals. The jacket was another charity shop find. Whoever priced the items did not know the label as I got it for a fiver. It would have cost over a hundred fifty pounds when brand new. The weather is getting finer and looks like the bare leg season has just begun.

A lacy, pale yellow top worn with pale green cardigan, paper bag waist pale bluedenim, tan belt and trainers.

It felt better than it looks.

Another take on pastels. Plain colours but all with different textures. Knitt, lace and denim. Hugely comfortable, vastly wearable and casual. I have swapped the belt for another one that picks up on the colour of the trainers

What to do with an old pearl necklace? Wear it, and not only for special occasions. I have put it together with trainers to make it more casual. The pearls have been in for a couple of seasons now, so make use of what you have, especially now when shopping is more complicated.

Coat: Toxic3

Blouse: Monsoon

Polo-neck: Weekday

Trousers: Primark

Boots: Deichmann

What do you wear with a lacy black blouse? Blacktop? – Boring. Whitetop?- Classic. Glitter?- Fabulous! I already have a dress in exactly the same glittery fabric, so when I saw this top in a charity shop for £3 I had to have it. The glitter is going nowhere any time soon. Winter Fashion 2020 is still full of it and I intend to wear it too. I have combined it with also glittery trousers and a black coat. The outfit may be mostly black but thanks to all different textures seem more vibrant.

Dungarees: H&M

Boots: Primark

Blazer: Next

Bag: Rovallan

I have worn these dungarees a few times and every time I’m trying to give them a different feel. I have done sporty and casual this time is sexier. I have found this top in a charity shop and got it as it is a good basic but it has a very deep decolletage so I have turned it back to front to make it more season-appropriate. Long silver earrings to match the hardware in the dungarees and a blazer to elevate it slightly which I later swapped for a jacket as it got chillier.

Jacket: Ben Sherman

Top: Primark

Blouse: Monsoon

Trousers: Zara

Shoes: Deichmann

It all has started with this fab blouse that has been handed down to me. I didn’t want to wear it over a black top, so I have chosen a brick colour top, but then the weather forecast was all rain so I have decided to wear a leather jacket and the faux-leather trousers sprang to mind automatically and sensible shoes good for rain and a black bag to finish it all.

A mix of metalic shine and lacy transparency looked quite good and polished and was very comfortable.
